From Hawkslee House along the entire stretch of road to the A54 Buxton Road

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway category by Mrs Jane Wain at 11:53, Tue 8 July 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7826855.

The road is now completely impassable for any regular vehicle, only tractors and large farm vehicle able to use this too half of Minn End Lane safely. A handful of potjhokes have been ‘filled’- appalling standard of work. But the WHOLE ROAD NEED RESURFACING’! The carriageway falls steeply away at the sides, this is beyond filling with a bit of tarmac. There are huge holes along the entire stretch ( hence no photos). Will you please address this as soon as possible. Please note- the road is scheduled to be closed on 16th July for electricity maintenance work. We will HAVE to get through! We have a parent in critical care currently- and need to be able to get out at any time at short notice. We cannot go ‘up’ Minn End Lane as an alternative way out- as the road state is so terrible. We have asked for resurfacing for many years now. Further down Minn End Lane had stretches done a few years ago, but nothing has ever been done upwards towards the A54
