In short, both properties 10 and 11 Holly Crescent due to the drains in crescent especially the central one in the street not getting cleaned regularly.

Reported via mobile in the Blocked Drain category anonymously at 17:44, Mon 7 July 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7823051.

After the heavy rainfall on Sunday 6-7-25. Both myself and our neighbour experienced extreme flooding due to the block drain outside our houses. This has happened before and the only way I could ease it to stop it flooding our garage was to lift the manhole in our drive. As you can see it’s at least 4 to 5 inches deep when it was at its peak and was going in our garage and our next-door neighbours garage and then flooding down into our gardens. Now there is essential drain in the middle of the Crescent which is never ever been cleared. There’s mud to under the grill. If you want to send someone round to take a look it has never been looked at.. and I can’t help but feel that this may be part of the problem. The water that was coming out the drain as well had a horrible smell to it which I can only make me think that it might have contained sewage in it as well. As now we make our way into the winter part of the year. I’m worried that it will only get worse due to the weather declining as it will do. Your help in finally resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Sidney Andrews 10 Holly Crescent. Beckenham. BR3 3DL.
