There has been an ongoing issue with a large depression in the lane, its 3-4ft long and 10 inches deep. There has been an incident recently where a resident in the area has sprained their ankle. The issue is quickly worsening because the refuse lorries have no other option but to go over the damaged part of the road.

The damage to the road outside no. 20 Park Road was fixed on 21 July 2025. But there is also a serious ridge in the tarmac outside the front wall of no. 16 which was not fixed and is equally capable of causing a sprained ankle.
