Rubbish dumped at the side of the Caueswayend Road

Reported in the Flytipping category by Jane Dawson at 16:59, Sat 5 March 2016

Sent to Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council 2 minutes later

We haven't walked along the narrow part of the Causeway End Road for a while and were shocked to see so much rubbish dumped at the side of the road, in spite of a very old Lisburn Council sign saying no dumping. This is not just litter it is household items, toys, plastic etc. We live on the wider part of the Causeway End Road and find that litter generally is a real problem in the area. We lift bagfuls of litter every week, mostly fast food wrappers, sometimes discarded food and lots of cans and sweet papers.

  • The problem with the litter on the Causeway End Road hasn't been dealt with, in fact it is worse now there is even a fridge freezer there now! Tyres have also been dumped at the side of the road.
