Hidden first speed restriction sign

The first 30mph sign as you come into kingsclere is not visible when driving due to overgrown vegetation . This has led to a number of vehicles maintaining the previous 60 mph national speed limit into the village. They ever growing vegetation has been hiding the sign for approximately 2 months. There is a number of concealed pedestrian crossings directly after the hidden sign. The increased speed and pedestrian use due to the warmer weather has led to a number of near misses at high speed. I personally walk this route once a day, and have had five near misses from speeding vehicles over the last month. Having flagged down and spoken to two drivers post these incidents both noted. They did not see any 30 mph signage.
