Missing Arrow Signs temp signs fall over

Reported via mobile in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 09:58, Sat 5 July 2025

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7812308.

For months temporary signs on the central reservation marking the turn in land which is a crossing point for pedestrians. Last week a taxi hit the central reservation, ended up parked in hedge a few days 'Police Aware' this did not equate to replacement of sandbags holding temp signs - sand all over the ground! Please address permanent sign replacement requirement, and suggest speed log equipment as vehicles too fast knocking signs down in first place!

  • Temporary metal signs regularly fall over - no 'sign' of permanent signage. Permanent arrow signs should be put in place for safety of road users who travel at speeds above 40mph day and night along Templars Way. Road Safety Fail.
