Ongoing Road Surface Damage – Unrepaired Potholes and Cracks Near Ringway North Exit

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:25, Fri 4 July 2025

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7807074.

I am writing to raise a long-standing concern regarding two potholes and several significant splits in the road surface near the roundabout exit for Ringway North. These issues have been reported multiple times over the past few years, yet no repairs have been made.

Each day, I am forced to carefully navigate around these defects to prevent damage to my vehicle. The cracks in the road are sharp and uneven, and I can hear my tyres hitting them as I drive. The two potholes near the roundabout exit are particularly hazardous and unavoidable without risking sudden swerving or wheel damage.

These ongoing road defects not only pose a serious risk to vehicles but could also lead to accidents if drivers are forced to take evasive action.
