Trees on Telegraph Path causing danger to public

The trees on Telegraph Path behind 47 Hill Close need pruning as they are obscuring the public lights necessary to keep pedestrians safe and are overhanging the public path causing risk of injury to pedestrians.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Works have been raised and issued to the contractor to cut back foliage obscuring lighting column 147F07. Please note that as outlined in our Tree Management Strategy (tree-management-strategy-2023-to-2027 (bromley.gov.uk) the Council will not prune trees in relation to the following: • Lack of light: there is no ‘Right to light’ (or shade) in British law
