The public footpath between Hampton Court Close and Swinneyford Road, Towcester, is breaking up due to ingress of weeds and requires repair. It is also becoming impassable due to overhanging vegetation from the adjacent residential property.

Investigation: Ongoing (Reported to a third party) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location, and we are undertaking a landownership investigation and will update you shortly.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that the vegetation is the responsibility of the landowner. In accordance with the WNC Network Management Plan, we will contact the landowner and request they cut back their vegetation within 14 days of receipt of our correspondence. We will reinspect the vegetation to ensure they have complied.
