The public footpath between Hampton Court Close and Swinneyford Road, Towcester, is breaking up due to ingress of weeds and requires repair. It is also becoming impassable due to overhanging vegetation from the adjacent residential property.

  • Hi, I live on ROSS ROAD NN5 5AY NORTHAMPTON. The bushes have grown very big and it is difficult for people to get through, especially children. At night, wild animals gather and approach the doors of the house.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that the vegetation is the responsibility of the landowner. In accordance with the WNC Network Management Plan, we will contact the landowner and request they cut back their vegetation within 14 days of receipt of our correspondence. We will reinspect the vegetation to ensure they have complied.
