Wrong road markings
Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 13:42, Wed 2 July 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7797466.
Southbound main road traffic (only) has a right-hand turn safe zone marked filter space but not northbound traffic, which is filtering into the unmarked part of the southbound zone, causing head-on collisions. You are legally responsible for wrong white-lining. This is only a very minor budget issue, as it only needs a few hatched white lines to prevent northbound traffic from entering the southbound filter. This was your mistake in the last white-lining, which you must urgently correct. We are not asking for new work. We are demanding that you correct your dangerously flawed white-lining.
