Overgrown Hedge Blocking Safe Footpath to School

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/Cycleway category anonymously at 07:35, Wed 2 July 2025

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7794833.

The footpath along this road is becoming dangerously narrow due to overgrown hedges and bushes. The growth now takes up nearly half the pavement, forcing pedestrians — including children and parents walking to the local schools — to step into the busy road to pass each other safely. This is especially hazardous during school run times (2x large senior schools use this path). The hedge appears to have not been cut back for years and urgently needs maintenance to restore the full path width and keep everyone safe.
