A Kerbs problem has been found

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7790082.

The kerb has large weeds growing. The road sweeper has gone past but the weeds are that big it did nothing.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Following a review on cost and effectiveness of weed spraying, we are not routinely spraying weeds on the highway. Instead, we review requests for treatment of weeds in channels, at the top of kerbs, in footways / alleyways (bordering a wall or fence), footpaths and link paths. As your request does not meet the criteria, no further action will be taken at this time.

    We will continue to ensure the location is safe through our routine safety inspections which are conducted in line with our Code of Practice. More information is available on the following link:
