The two wooden support posts, on both signs, are rotten at ground level. The sign moves in the wind and there is a danger it will detach and end up on the carriageway, on a very windy day. I would suggest replacing the posts or fitting godfather posts to the existing.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 52 days.
