Mature tree - fallen branches & looks unhealthy

I am no expert but I suggest this tree (an elm?) does not look healthy, especially for June.

Those branches have fallen

Please remove the branches from the pavement - don't just pap (potentially diseased) vegetation into the grass verge.

Then investigate & attend to the tree if necessary. Fingers crossed it isn't serious ie another felling along this historic street.

  • And lo, nothing was done (surprise!). Since when another, much larger branch has snapped off - fortunately it landed on the grass verge this time and not the pavement.
