New road sign blocking visbility

Reported via desktop in the General road markings, lines and stud issues category anonymously at 15:33, Sun 29 June 2025

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7781253.

When leaving the cycle centre heading towards Cannop Ponds on the Colliers Trail (Family Cycle Track) new road signs have been placed on either side of Speech House Road between the cycle track road crossing and the cross roads. The one on the right hand side (when appoaching from the Speech House side) severely restricts the view of traffic coming towards the crossing from Coleford. I have attached a photo but it it needs a site visit to appreciate the problem caused by a combination of the position of the sign and the speed of the cars accelerating up the hill when they pass the crossroads. As an adult I can take a deep breath and run across but I would not like to try crossing there with a couple of small children on or off bikes.
