Pedestrian crossing sign facing wrong direction

Reported via desktop in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 14:09, Sunday 29 June 2025

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7780955.

3rd wonky sign on and around the busy, dangerous, Thornwood Roundabout. Does no-one check this stuff any more? Especially as most was revamped recently. All of which compromise pedestrian safety - council priorities?

This pedestrian crossing warning sign for drivers is facing the wrong way. It is on the east-bound road but facing east. Duh. The crossing it is meant to flag is thus hidden with no visible warning.

A simple fix, why is it taking so long?
