Various issues - one street

Given volunteers have been working so hard - for free - inside Thornwood Primary & Nursery to improve it for the weans in Glasgow’s 850th / school’s 125th, it would be rather nice if @glasgowcc could tidy up the various issues right next to them, outside, on Thornwood Ave & surrounds. Just a thought...

Flytipping, flyposting, overflowing street bin, blocked drains & flooding, graffiti, redundant GCC notices et al. Make the place looked cared for / prove the city actually cares about its weans rather than just claim it does…

That collapsed (poss. out of date?) banner is the council’s own. It either needs re-fixed, replaced, or removed.

And, we know that phone box & fibre box aren’t yours, but you can easily exert pressure on the owners in just 10 mins, with just 2 x 50p phone calls…

And then what chance the council (not volunteers) could pay for & paint those railings in those now faded multi primary colours this year?
