Vegetation overgrowth

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 14:15, Friday 27 June 2025

Sent to Milton Keynes Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7774558.

The double yellow lines on Cranfield Road between Park Farm bungalow and around tight left hand the corner towards Salford are so overgrown by verge they are, in some places now invisible. Not only is this unacceptable maintenance but it reduces the road width. The height of the verges is absurd, some road signs are now covered. The hedge at the left hand bend just after Park Farm Bungalow towards Salford has been allowed incursion into the road and is now a “wall”. The road is tight at this point especially when agricultural vehicles are using the road, as expected in the countryside. We have now lost the sight line around the corner which is also a serious danger to pedestrians and cyclists. There is no footpath and the verge is now circa 1.5m plus high. Please trim this back hard to how it was a few years ago before someone is injured.
