Bróken drain cover, blocked drain

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7773201.

A lorry has parked on side of road just south of The White House gateway and broken a concrete slab which covered an inspection pit into the piped roadside ditch. There is a lot of material blocking the pipe and inspection pit. The lack of a cover leaves an open hole, which could be a danger to traffic.

  • HCC visited the site and has placed a temporary plastic barrier on the road side of the inspection pit, but a permanent fix and new inspection pit cover are still required.
