Poor quality resurfacing

Sent to Luton Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7768797.

Council recently resurfaced Icknield Way between Newbold Rd and Homebase. Two weeks after resurfacing the repairs are failing. The pothole repairs below the resurfacing are coming through. This is especially noticeable on a pedestrian island near the Grassmere nursery, it’s like the repairs have been done with Play Doh and gravy. This is not acceptable and a waste of council tax money. An engineer from council and contractors need to visit urgently.
