Near junction of Daveylands and Macclesfield Road

Reported via mobile in the Carriageway category by Joe Clitherow at 19:10, Wed 25 June 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7764306.

Last week a water main was leaking when roadworks were completed nearby. I assumed the roadworks were related but the water main has been leaking for over a week without any action and has been getting significantly worse. Today I noticed that the road around the leak has started to collapse and the road is sinking quite quickly. It has sunk much more since this morning and cars continue to drive over the leak, exacerbating the road collapse
