Overgrown bushes onto pavement
Reported via mobile in the Environmental Services category anonymously at 13:50, Wed 25 June 2025
Sent to Bromley Council 6 days, 19 hours, 47 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 7762478.
We have discussed this problem before, last update April 2025 but you've closed the case. You informed me that there was an enforcement notice raised on the residents to see to the land. The bush is now overgrown again and blocking my elderly neighbours driveway and the public pavement and people are once again flytipping as it's a dumping ground. Could the enforcement notice be actioned. Thank you

What is happening please this matter has gone on far too long. Has the enforcement notice been enforced as nothing has changed with the overgrown bushes and rubbish being dumped. My elderly friend who lives right next to the bush and is covering his driveway is getting extremely upset with this matter as nothing is being done and he feels let down by the council and I agree. Update please.

We have notified the responsible party of their duties and responsibilities and informed them that further enforcement action may be taken if the issue is not resolved. For overhanging vegetation reports please allow 28 days for the responsible party to arrange action before notifying us of any continued obstruction.

Is this with the original enforcement notice or a new one? Surely the enforcement notice originally served should be enforced otherwise this is pointless.

Thank you so much for cutting back the bushes, we do appreciate it and my elderly neighbour is very pleased. Unfortunately it will grow back as roots really need taking out but it is much clearer for now. Many thanks
