The whole part of this road is in need of repair. It is dangerous to drive over
Reported in the Trip hazard category anonymously at 14:20, Fri 26 February 2016
Sent to Devon County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 776171.
The road is breaking up and potholes are becoming bigger and younhavevto weave all across the road to avoid them and the journeys are doing damage to tyres and suspensions and any repairs are not cheap. I have written to the Council and they have done nothing to put things right. The problem is from my village from the bridge at Black Torrington to The crossroads at Sedgemoor Cross.

The council have told me in the past that a check would be done on the road in question. That was months ago and the road has far as I know has not driven over by the council. They were supposed to tell me when this was done . No word as yet.

The road has not been marked out for repair or even touched. Devon Torridge who ever is in charge are a joke. We have to use our cars in our village. There is no public transport, so we have to use our cars.

I have yet to hear from any of the parties involved. Despite me e mailing them with all the details required. The road is so bad where I have indicated and is dangerous and the council is the Seles in getting thugs done. I have never known a council so inept

I still have heard nothing and I have now sent copies of invoices for work on my car. The latest was my tracking was way out and this was only caused by using the infamous road that leaves from my village. I am hoping I get a response with compensation

I have heard back from Devon Council and they say that my complaint does is not specific to a party peculiar pot hole. I have responded to say never mind potholes the road in question is breaking up with too many potholes, we have gone beyond potholes. My car has had tracking and new tyres, which are not cheap for my Mercedes

I have heard back both from my MP and the Council.Thevcouncil anime to be more specific about the pt holes etc. How can I when the road has no name When I first knew I had troubleI went straight to Kwik Fit and they told me my wheel alignment was out by some 80% I got in touch with the Council as soon as. I got home. And still they will not accept my bill for this . The road has still not be looked over and I dread driving on it but I have not rather than take some many miles detour just to miss this road.

The Council as far as I know have yet to drive the road and the state it is in. Again a lack of information from the council. They have said I have no claim as I have not been specific about the damage to my car. As I have said it is not just a couple of pot holes the whole road needs to be fixed, you are having to try and miss the dips and holes and it dangerous to drive in with cars coming both ways.

Nothing what so ever has been done. The Council appear to have no intention in repairing the road. The road is breaking up. We have gone beyond potholes. My car has been damaged bit again the council will not pay out as they say Imhave not been specific.

We'll sort of the road has been filled like potholes. So the drive is much better. But it has taken 10 years to fix. And it makes you laugh when Covarac gets a brand new Road in 5 days all for the tourists but us locals who pay the council tax have to wait and wait.
