Trees and hedgerows obstructing vision of road

Reported via desktop in the Trees overhanging highways category anonymously at 10:06, Tuesday 24 June 2025

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7754304.

Message sent by member of public to Diss Town Council: "I am a resident of Harrier Way in Diss. The junction at the top of my road has become almost impossible to see out of when driving a car due to overgrown foliage. I have attached some pictures.

I do not know who owns this foliage but it clearly needs to be cut back to ensure public safety. I was wondering if you might be able to find out who should be taking responsibility for this? Or alternatively if you could ask for the council to help with this issue?

I don't believe this has been cut back in well over a year and it is getting to the stage where you cannot cross the road safely on foot yet alone turn out of the junction in a car. It would be fantastic if something could be done about this, I'm aware many children walk to school along this road and I genuinely believe this is an accident waiting to happen."
