Despite pouring a bucket of water down the drain the leaves are still 'floating' just below the level of the drain cover. The lovely trees along this stretch of the road do shed their leaves and although the road is regularly swept I'm not sure that the drains are as well cared for. They do need to be maintained in order to avoid flooding

We are pleased to inform you that the Parish or Town of Witney North is scheduled for gully emptying in the third quarter of this financial year. While severe weather may cause delays, we are committed to thoroughly cleansing all Highway Surface Water Assets in the area within this timeframe.
