  • We will review the tree over the course of the summer. It is possible that the tree will resprout from the base. We kindly ask that you put the torn stem in the green waste bin, if you have one. Alternatively, it can be cut up and put at the base of this stump as a mulch. Thank you.

  • Trees can live for decades, if not centuries, but they require a lot of TLC in the first few years to survive and grow to their full potential.

LBB Tree Friends can make all the difference to the survival and growth of a newly planted tree near you. Join other Bromley residents across the across the Borough who water trees or adjust hessian ties. You can also help immensely by removing low shoots on older lime trees and LBB will collect the trimmings. Please consider joining our Tree Friends Tree Friends (bromley.gov.uk).

We appreciate all small tasks you wish to contribute including encouraging others to learn and appreciate more about the trees where they live. You can make a significant difference to the appearance of your neighbourhood by caring for the trees. Volunteering is fun, sociable and a quality use of time—even if it’s an ad hoc activity you add to your other work and family commitments.

Tree Friends know that it takes a Village to Raise a Tree.
