Collapsed wall blocking Happy Lane

Report 7299439 was closed despite no action having been taken. This occurred three months after I first submitted the report, and about 7 months after the wall first collapsed last November. It's really ridiculous that the council clearly knows there is an issue, since safety fencing was erected in November, yet no further action has been taken, or updates given.

I'll be contacting councillors to see if this will escalate the situation.

  • 2 months after raising this enquiry, 5 months after raising report 7299439 which was closed with no action taken, and 9 months after the event. Nothing has happened here. Half the lane is still blocked off. There hasn't been a single update from the council as to what's happening about it.

  • This wall is still collapsed and taking up space on what is a very busy lane for children trying to get to and from Sefton park school every week day.

  • I received this from the council Highways team on 25/09:

    "We apologise as this case has been taking a while. We have had a response from responsible team that they are seeking approval for spending on remedial works to make the area safe. Once works are approved and instructed to a contractor, works will proceed."
