Can't see oncoming traffic

Reported via mobile in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 20:47, Thu 19 June 2025

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7735915.

It is difficult to cross the road onto Belle Isle Circus from near the 59 Club because you can't see the oncoming traffic due to overgrown trees. It is also difficult to judge the speed of the traffic. This problem occurs every year - maybe the outer trees should have branches removed to prevent this?

The pathway across Belle Isle Circus is also blocked by overgrown trees and the concrete is raised up due to the tree roots - a trip hazard. The lower branches should be removed.

Updates

  • Had an email acknowledgement of the issue, but still not resolved.

  • The pathway across Belle Isle Circus has been sorted - thank you. The problem with the trees preventing people trying to see oncoming traffic hasn't been resolved - it's difficult to gauge the speed of traffic especially youths on motorbikes and quad bikes.
