Overgrowth of weeds, nettles, litter etc
Reported via desktop in the Litter/Leaves category anonymously at 13:02, Thu 19 June 2025
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7733653.
There are numerous paths in this park that have become impassable due to overgrowth of brambles, nettles, cow parsley, and other random weeds. The trees are overhanging and becoming harder to move through, especially for the elderly and disabled. Not just that, there is so much litter and the bins are becoming engulfed in weeds such as nettles too. The slopy area which has a descent to a "bay like area" of water has litter, debris, fallen trees which my dog likes to go in but finding it harder to because of glass, and risk of entrapment. The whole park, including the bridge and around the bridge, paths, and copse areas really needs cutting back. Even inside the wooded areas there is so much overgrowth and if it looks like the council dont care, others wont and the amount of littering will only exponentiate.
