Path and grass verge need bollards to stop damage, nuisance and danger
Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 23:17, Tuesday 17 June 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7725566.
Please input a bollard or two on the grass verge area on Ashmead Road high odd numbers, to prevent cars from parking right on the corner, damaging the grass area which is looked after by the council (and also has two signs saying to not park there), and causing a danger and nuisance. The grass verge is completely destroyed. Cars parking in this area, mostly not even people who live on this street, cause issues for the houses opposite to access the driveways comfortably and safely. Cars are parked on both corners consistently, which causes danger to people pulling in/out of the culdesac road and people getting to their own driveways.

The cars are getting worse and it’s causing a significant amount of irritation to people who live here - especially the homes opposite being the most affected. As I type this there are 3 cars parked from the corner down the grass verge, 1 car parked opposite that, and then another that’s parked almost in the middle of the road; multiple cars have had an issue getting in and out of the road and we’ve had difficulty getting onto our own property.
