Reported via mobile in the Street lighting category anonymously at 10:55, Tuesday 17 June 2025

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7721949.

This particular streetlight is completely obscured by the tree. When dark, the streetlight does not reach the footpath, which causes a major trip hazard. Branches of the tree also hang down which causes pedestrians to duck down to avoid being struck in the face, which also contributes to the trip hazard.

Updates

  • Still waiting for something to be done . . . South Norfolk Council have now passed on to Diss Town Council who are supposedly responsible for the street lighting. Makes walking along the path even more treacherous when selfish people park on the footpath too!!!
