Pavement parking, overgrowing tree
Reported via mobile in the Parking queries/reports category anonymously at 10:24, Tue 17 June 2025
Sent to Brighton and Hove City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7721687.
As the pedestrian enters Firle Rd from Freshfield Rd road they are confronted by the branches and leaves of an overgrowing tree forcing the pedestrian into the road. On the other side of this street a car is parked on the pavement which is a common occurrence. Further along the street there is a disabled bay. The user of this bay always parks partly on the bay and partly on the pavement. At the end of the road another car is parked on the pavement. This street is difficult to navigate for the elderly, disabled and children
Updates
-
The car that parks on the pavement is still doing so. The bushes are becoming very hazardous as both the pavement parked car and the bushes force the pedestrian into the road which is a blind corner.
