Yet Another Large Pothole on Barley Hill

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 17:47, Mon 16 June 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7718888.

There is yet another large deep pothole on Barley Hill that has been here for ages and reported more than once before.

Also two large sections of Barely Hill had major patching / resurfacing carried out around 12 months ago but for some reason this very bad section of the road was not done at the same time.

Can this section now please have the same major patching and resurfacing carried out to repair all the potholes and severe rutting and subsidence to the road surface.

  • Nearly 6 months to carry out a pothole repair?

May I ask what category of defect this falls into and for a full disclosure of the criteria and SLA for defect repair times for each category/classification of defect.

There are multiple potholes and defects along this section of Barley Hill, it would be easier, simpler and more cost effective to skim the road and carry out large scale patch resurfacing.
