Potholes the length of Pury road, numerous tyres have burst

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7713897.

The Shutlanger road has been closed for months, the diversion is along Pury road through Alderton. The whole road is in a terrible state.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 14 days.

  • Some work has been carried out last week, but the road is still in a state, full of holes and road edges gone. Is further work scheduled for thie rest of thes road, into the village?
