Numerous cars vans

Reported in the Abandoned vehicles category anonymously at 12:09, Fri 19 February 2016

Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 771026.

Numerous cars vans are being abandoned daily on the pavement/verge by the construction staff of the building site 20 metres away on opposite side of B4107. This long line of vans/cars completely block a long section of pavement. Surely a building project of this size should have a gravel hard-standing put on site near entrance for construction staff to park on? surely a site of this size should have a site supervisor to oversee staff behaviour/ work safety enforcement? how, if there is one, can this supervisor not notice that every day his staff block a pavement in full view of construction site? If on road parking in this location is so unavailable that there is no where to park except pavements then how was the planning permission for new site passed by council? if there is nowhere to park why is council allowing construction of properties that will add hundreds of new cars/residents to area? where will they all park? the local paths obviously will not hold them all.
