Bend Signage

Main road is scheduled to be closed Jul 9 - Jul 11 for hand lay patching.
During this time, please may the bend signage be re-instated. During the past few months, many vehicles have come off the road here due to the signage missing, possibly due to a lack of awareness of the bend.

The sign at this location and others throughout the borough are not identified as urgent defects in accordance with the council’s Code of Practice, which is available on our website via the link below: https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/ pdf/ highways/ code-of-practice-for-highway-safety-inspections/ highway-inspection-code-of-practice-april-2021.pdf However, this location will be included into a future rolling programme of sign replacement works and will be prioritised within available budget along with locations of a similar nature. At this present time, we are unable to indicate a timescale for those works, until the necessary funding and resource becomes available.
