Cars blocking pavement

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 08:59, Fri 19 February 2016

Sent to Gateshead Borough Council 1 minute later

Cars parking on the narrow pavement, and blocking it for use by pedestrians. This street is poorly lit, and has narrow footpaths, on which people park, forcing pedestrians into the road. More prevalent at night, but at the moment there are two cars a blue Audi and a red Porsche, which have not moved in over a week, one is parked partially on a drive and on the pavement the other is on the pavement.

  • Still there, in exactly the same spot, a third car was also parked on the pavement yesterday, meter reader had to climb over the wall to read the meters at this property, as he could not use the path.
