Dangerous metal point sticking up from pavement

Previous works have left a dangerous metal jagged edge sticking up from the pavement (one of 2). Pedestrians or children on scooters could trip over them, and if someone was to fall onto the metal they could be hurt (happened to a friend recently, with significant knee injury that required an operation).
