Dog waste bin repair

Reported via desktop in the Overflowing litter/dog bin category anonymously at 15:06, Wednesday 11 June 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7694545.

Received csc email 11/06/25 - Hi, I'd like to report the disintegrating dog waste bin in Alexandra Recreation ground. It's the tall green one at the top of the small park, after the kids playground and before the bowls club. It's always full and the bottom of it is so rusty the base is now disintegrating. See attached image. I'd also like to request an additional bin/dog waste bin by the bike lockers at the top of Hardings Lane. This is a high traffic area for pedestrians and we (and other dog walkers) have nowhere else nearby to dispose of dog waste. The nearest bins are in Alex Rec or the bus stop on Parish Lane. This might also help to encourage people to pick up their dog waste and bin it – and keep streets cleaner. Thanks for your consideration of these requests.
