Overgrown alley

Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 17:24, Tue 10 June 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7689895.

The hedges are massively overgrown in the alley between leeson road and drydon rd. I know that the hedges cannot be cut back in nesting season, however, surely the stray bramble branches that are now arching the alleyway at head/eye height can be cut? Also, there are stinging nettles, brambles, bamboo etc all growing either side of the path, also restricting access and becoming trip hazards. It has been getting worse for the last month but after almost catching my face off of a bramble branch and my son getting stung, I felt it needed reporting. The space down here is now restricted you have to walk single file
