Signs + plants block view making junction dangerous

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 14:45, Tuesday 10 June 2025

Sent to North Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7689070.

The junction from A369 to B3129 (Beggar Bush Lane) is dangerous. The issue is that the signage and overgrown vegetation mean that the cars coming at high speed along the A369 and turning into the B3129 cannot see cyclist crossing. Although there is a crossing and lights, cyclists frequently cross without waiting for them. I have seen several near-misses. It is a route that a lot of cyclists use traveling into Bristol from Portishead and Pill/Ham Green. The junction has recently been redesigned, but the signs have not been moved. I believe it would be quite simple and cheap to fix. They just need to move the signs further down the road, or raise them higher, and remove the vegetation.
