Report 8388156/ 7674307

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7687936.
As you have marked this duplicate and clearly not bothered to read the later report, we will now (as stated in 8388156) contact the new Leader of the Council regarding this situation that has already been problematic for 9 months, and you casually state will be dealt with by April 2026, which is a "joke". It will be interesting to see how impressed the new Council is regarding this cavalier attitude- ironic, given that a stretch slightly west (20 metres) was resurfaced when it had no potholes whatever and was merely "scaled", and the area causing the problem has several potholes-one of which is now deepened and will damage vehicles.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, a pre-emptive defect has been raised. This means that the location does not currently meet West Northamptonshire Council's criteria as an urgent safety defect. However, the repair will be scheduled to be completed alongside other maintenance works in the local vicinity. We will continue to monitor the condition as part of our routine highway inspection schedule. Should you notice the defect worsening, please inform us via an update to your existing enquiry.
