Slimy Pavements Causing Falls
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 16:46, Mon 15 February 2016
Sent to Southampton City Council 4 minutes later
Please clean up the slimy pavements between Tasman Close and Pacific Close perimeter in Oceanvillage.
The pavements are very slippery and people have been falling whilst going for a walk or run. To avoid falling, some people have started to walk on the road, which has a two way traffic and poor lighting, so it makes it dangerous specially after sunset.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This request is now being actioned.

The council actioned bugger all! The pavements get slippery in cold humid days because they are never cleaned - the accumulation of dead leaves mixed with bird poo makes pavements turn into ice rinks. A local retired lady has broken her wrist badly 3 weeks ago. The only way the council will fix issues is if they get sued.
