Thank you for your enquiry. Works have been raised to the contractor to remove dead/damaged branches for the tree's which overhang the boundary line. Please note that as outlined in our Tree Management Strategy (tree-management-strategy-2023-to-2027 (bromley.gov.uk) the Council will not prune trees in relation to the following:
• Branches overhanging properties. Residents have the right to exercise their right under common law to prune back branches to their property boundary, withal arising disposed of by the resident. Pruning should be carried out following discussion with one of the Council’s Tree Officers and completed to the standard set out in BS3998:2010 Tree Work;

Thank you for your comments. In order for us to investigate we require precise information. The map pointer shows the location of 120 Lullingstone Crescent where works have been recently undertaken by the contractor. Further works have been added to the enquiry for the section of boundary 136 Lullingstone Crescent which are in hand to be completed by the contractor.

All necessary works have been completed, and no further work is required at this time. We will continue to monitor the health of the tree as part of our routine 3-yearly inspection cycle. Please note that works beyond that to reduce the tree size or to allow more light, prune clear of telephone lines etc will not be undertaken as outlined in our Tree Management Strategy (tree-management-strategy-2023-to-2027 (bromley.gov.uk)
