Trees by zebra crossing

I am writing to raise a concern about the zebra crossing on Crofton Road (near Ormonde Avenue and St Paul's Church) which in my view has become increasingly dangerous, particularly during the evening and night hours.
The issue is that the trees surrounding the crossing have become overgrown and are now significantly blocking the light from the nearby lights. As a result, the crossing is extremely dark at night, making it difficult for both pedestrians and drivers to see clearly.
Please can the council look into trimming the overgrown trees and improving the lighting in this area which would greatly improve safety for everyone who uses it.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
