Blue cycling sign pointing incorrectly

It should be pointing the other way, across the dual carriageway to, err, Spinney Hill!

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 47 days.

    This sign has been turned since I first reported it. It’s still pointing in the wrong direction. The sign on the other side of the road (second photo) confirms the correct direction to Round Spinney. Can’t you join the dots? And because it’s now hanging over the pavement, pedestrians & cyclists are likely to walk into it in the dark. So very dangerous!
