Thank you for your enquiry. A crew attended site to what was originally a crown lift to discover that there was a large crack in one of the scaffold limbs (see attached photos) with no viable pruning operations available leaving sufficient growth points for recovery that the tree to recover from leaving a stick, this combined with the tree had significant cracks in tension side of its minor lean affecting stability of the tree (unstable root plant) to which sadly the tree was sadly removed on the grounds of Health and Safety. Separate to this enquiry, a 3 month job has been raised to remove the stump and a replacement is on the planting schedule 2025/26 and in hand to be planted next planting season starting in November running to March 2026.
