Severely overgrown verges (both left and right of our property) make it dangerous to pull out onto the B526 from The Paddocks, Eakley Lanes, Stoke Goldington, Bucks MK16 8LR
Our 17yr son is learning to drive and it is making it very unsafe for him to pull out, in particular.
Visibility is next to nothing on this 60mph Road. Please rectify asap, and update us on 07860 863434, thank you

Extremely overgrown grass verge making it VERY DANGEROUS to pull out onto 60mph B526. Reported via Fix my Street weeks ago, nothing was done,
In desperation, we then contacted the emergency number 01604 651074 and 01604 529700 after 3 near misses in as many days..
James Kay of Keir Highways kindly arranged for verge to be cut (it hasn't been cut for ages, so is 5-6ft tall), but we have since advised that VISIBILITY IS STILL BAD and are still awaiting call back or effective cut to resolve the issue.
Have been fobbed off with the highways obligation to only cut 1m depth from roadside. The fact that the poor visibility STILL MAKES IT DANGEROUS to pull out, seems to be being ignored.
It is a challenge to for experienced drivers to enter the B526 when it is not possible to see vehicles traveling at speeds of around 60mph until they are very close, and even worse for our learner driver son.
Having sought legal advice, we understand that Highways are responsible and will be liable when this issue causes a car accident, harm or death.
Respectfully, we ask the relevant authority again, please resolve to prevent that!
The attached pictures are taken after the verge has been cut, from a high vantage point in an SUV, when trying to enter the B526 safely.
The first image is pointing North, the second points South.
Clearly, the overgrown verge remains dangerous and needs cutting back properly!

Having made several unanswered calls to highways on 01604 651074 and 01694 529700 over recent weeks, the severely overgrown verge to the right of my property was mysteriously cut down without notice. That has improved visibility in one direction, but not the other! If my calls were answered, or the extent of the issue (with clear photo evidence) acted on properly, this issue would be resolved. Instead, to my knowledge, someone from highways have now attended 4 times, and only half resolved! Had someone with a level head, have assessed the actual issue when I first raised it, this could have been resolved in two visits. Instead it's taken 4 visits, is only resolved one side (so clearly highways accept responsibility for poor visibility when pulling out onto the B526) and time has been wasted cutting back areas on the opposite side of the road that do not affect road safety! The problem remains, it is dangerous to pull out and we hold highways responsible in the event that, heaven forbid, one of the near misses turn into an accident. To be clear, it is dangerous to pull out from The Paddocks and Forest Lodge farm, due to poor visibility to the LEFT of our properties. PLEASE ARRANGE TO CUT THE REMAINING VERGE THAT HAS BEEN MISSED! Thank you.
