I think you can see from the pictures attached that this bus stop is clearly being overtaken by vegetation and is becoming an ever increasing danger to Stagecoach passengers who have to wait for their bus there. This need attention immediately and has been in this state for several weeks now!

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the vegetation meets the requirement for a Priority 4. We will schedule this vegetation to be cut back within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 47 days.

  • 7663463 Absolutely nothing has been done to rectify the extremely overgrown vegetation at this bus stop which you cannot actually see because of this. Your Priority 4 repair of 47 days has now passed and I am extremely disappointed at your response to this. This needs to be sorted as a priority as it is now an extremely dangerous health and safety issue to bus passengers who are getting pushed closer and closer onto the busy Bedford Road. Action needs to be taken immediately!!!
