Traffic calming on Gotherington lane is dangerous

The Traffic calming on Gotherington lane is dangerous as the verges are not maintained on a monthly basis. It is not easy to see oncoming traffic....particularly if the vehicle is not tall. Seeing cyclists is also an issue. Please remove the traffic calming ASAP. It would be far safer to have just a speed camera. Thereby limiting speed, maintaining traffic flow and causing less pollution due to unecessary stop start.

If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
